like everyone else i love love love LOVE the movie. (story is a bit cliche but still, great movie)
The 3D effects were superb but having to wear the 3D goggle irritates me A LOT.
(No, its not the same as wearing specs because specs make my vision clearer while the damn goggle compromises my vision and specs are lighter and less bulky.)
I didnt wanna watch it at first cus i was quite turned off by the blue people and their flat noses. but i watched it anw since it has really good reviews.
and indeed the movie was *sing-song voice* faaaaaanta-bulous.
With every great movie comes a great director AND v importantly, a super cute and hot and can-act lead (like Sam Worthington)
(UNlike e.g. Channing Tatum who looks good but can't act for nuts. imo that latest GI Joe movie sucked so badly partly because of his lousy acting. to think i went to watch it in the cinema because of him. waste money!! humph. *rolls eyes* oh oh luckily i didnt spend money to watch Fighting. that movie is shit. do not, under any circumstance, watch it.)
Anw back to Sam Worthington. he first caught my attention in Terminator Salvation but everyone was swooning over stupid Christian Bale. yea he's still good-looking but i dont care!
i'm so, so glad that there is a brilliant enough director to pick and cast him as the main lead in Avatar.
I really love him in the movie even though half the time he is blue and ugly and has braided hair.

kay so bottomline is: even if you don't like aliens/ sci-fi stuffs do still watch Avatar in the cinemas, for Sam Worthington!!
